Typhoon Longwang, Japanese Hotpot and Move Apartment - September 2005

Lots of things happened in September. Here is a taste of that. First is Sienna, a lovely restaurant we frequent with military regularity to make sure we don't go crazy eating rice and noodles.
The streets all over Yuanlin look like this, disturbing and disorientating when you first arrive.
The Japanese Hotpot that does great Hotpot, something we don't normally enjoy.
Typhoon Longwang was pretty uninteresting here, not so for the poor buggers in Hualien.
We are getting closer to having everything unpacked, but it's still ongoing!

That's me bird in Sienna eating our dose of Italian food.

That's me innt.

The streets of Taiwan, Yuanlin. There are plenty of crazy roads ready to lead you somewhere you weren't expecting to go.

More of that Taiwan street malarky. You can see a school girl on her bicycle.

A moody, arty Japanese Hotpot shot of Kate with bottle.

Mmmmm....

This way to Amarillo.

The dark and lumpy sky just before Typoon Longwang hit.... not much happened!

The B&W adds no tension at all.

The sky again.

All our guff gets piled in one truck and moved to our new apartment.

What it looks like to move 15+ boxes into a smaller apartment. What a headache to clean it all up.
